Inspired by the beauty and activities central Evia has to offer, a two-day journey awaits you to experience a unique adventure. Starting from Athens, we'll head to Steni where you'll be captivated by the charming atmosphere of traditional villages and the authentic hospitality of the locals.

The ultimate adventure begins with canyoning in the impressive Havos Gorge. As you descend with specialized equipment, you'll discover hidden chasms and breathtaking natural formations, adding a new dimension to adrenaline.

However, the adventure doesn't stop there. The program continues with exploring nature through hiking among the "giants" of Evia, Dirfis and Xerovouni. During our hike, you'll enjoy the stunning views offered by the combination of mountain and sea.

Guided by experienced leaders, this two-day journey in central Evia promises to leave an unforgettable impression on your memory, filled with unforgettable experiences and thrilling adventures.

The renowned village of Steni is nestled on the foothills of Mount Dirfys, at an altitude of 440 meters. It is characterized by its traditional stone houses, narrow picturesque streets, and its idyllic location in a pine-covered landscape. The village offers an authentic hospitality experience, with locals welcoming visitors warmly and friendly. Guests can immerse themselves in the tradition and culture of the area by dining at taverns offering traditional cuisine and exploring the secrets of the region through its scenic pathways.

Havos Gorge, near the village of Kampia, is a stunning natural formation with vertical and narrow walls, ledges, caves, and running water. It offers a unique canyoning experience, with 9 technical descents, jumps, and slides in a beautiful environment suitable for beginners.

This specific hiking experience offers an unforgettable adventure for nature enthusiasts. The route starts from Diaselo to the refuge of Dirfis, where we enjoy the view of the impressive mountain, and continues towards the lush forest of Xerovouni. At the plateau of Xerovouni, we will have the opportunity to admire the view towards the second highest peak of Evia, offering a breathtaking sight.

Canyoning Havos Gorge

Number of descents: 9
Maximum descent: 20 meters
Length: 800m

The hike to reach the entrance of the gorge will take about 5 minutes and 15 minutes at the exit.

The total duration of the activity will be 5 hours.
* at the entrance there will be a twenty-minute beginners' lesson.
